VSCC Members From Near And Far Come Through For Our Annual VSCC Cruiser Meet in Sunny Huntington Beach CA. The Weather Was Amazing, Surf Was Pumping, And The Cruisers Were Cruising. Our VSCC Members Came Through With Some Epic Vintage Boards Of All Different Brands, Sizes, and Eras. We Saw Lots Of Public Traffic Passing Through And Lot’s of Boards Changing Hands. 5 New Members Signed Up, And One Of Those Members Is Named Bud Llamas, Who Was Set Up Selling Colorful 70′ and 80’s Sticks! On Sunday February 25th 2018, Something Epically Historic Occurred At La Plaza In Dana Point, CA… The First Ever Vintage Surfboard Collector Club HOBIE SURF FEST!! Crank And Grind Coffee, Surfers Healing, Surfrider Foundation, Surfboards And Coffee, SHACC, Were All On The Scene With Outstanding Interactive Displays, Making The Hobie Meet A Great Time For Surfboard Fanatics And Their Families From All Around California. Hobie Dana Point Provided Two Generous $500 Gift Cards For Winners Of ‘BEST IN SHOW’ Hobie Surfboards And Memorabilia, While The WEST COAST COOKERS Set The Tempo With An Extraordinary Assortment Of Steaming Hot Surf Tunes For All To Enjoy! Many Club Members Agreed That This Was Perhaps Our Greatest Meet To Date, With More Boards, More Attendees, Best Weather, Best Surf Tunes, And More Festive Than Any Other Previous Meet. 
People came out to meet the collectors of vintage surf boards! This amazing event took place across the street from Topanga State Beach at The Reel Inn Restaurant and Historic Topanga Motel parking lot. We were thrilled to be welcomed back by the Topanga Park Rangers and Restaurant, and we did deliver an amazing meet thanks to all you club members. There was an amazing turnout with lots of public traffic and boards changing hands. Since Topanga is currently the northern-most meet we host, we had club members and guests in attendance from San Diego County all the way to Santa Barbara County. The holy surf spirits of Topanga seemed to be watching over the event, providing amazing weather, beautiful people, and tons of amazing vintage surfboards for sale and display.
